Eating raw means enjoying your food in its natural, uncooked state. If it is cooked, you wouldn’t heat it higher than 118 degrees. This ensures that you’re not killing all of the nutrients, vitamins, and enzymes.
It makes sense if you think about it. Rule of thumb - if we cook broccoli, asparagus, etc. make sure its not completely limp and cooked to death.
We are what we eat. If we eat nutrient dense, living food then we live. If we eat dead food, well the obvious.
To say, “cooked to death food is not going to do much for us” would be an understatement. Pinterest has endless raw food recipes, so there’s really no excuse.
