Trader Joe's Travel List
First of all, I never go anywhere without my power shake, aloe digest, and biome medic. This is essential #1 for Justin and I.
Staying in a hotel for a few days? Want to avoid wasting money and calories by eating out? Try eating in your room before heading to that work meeting or event!
Here’s a little go-to list that may help:
Breakfast is easy, just grab a couple pieces of fruit. Whatever your favorite fruit staple is- apples, bananas, oranges, cantaloupe, melon, papaya, etc.
You can make yourself a little coffee, tea or cacao latte in your room. I normally grab a non-dairy creamer from the store and bring my own cacao powder and maple, depending on how long I’m staying.
Lunch and dinner is what you want to think ahead for. Grab a bag of greens. Justin and I love arugula, but you can go with whichever green you prefer.
Grab a few fresh toppings for your salad like tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and hummus.
**If you’re getting canned goods, make sure they have a tear away top so that you do not need a can opener.
Snacks & Breakfast
Hummus with peppers, jicama, or baby carrots
Fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, red grapefruit, bananas, apples, cantaloupe, papaya, etc.
Lunch & Dinner
Arugula (or your favorite leafy greens)
You can just about always grab a plate and utensils before you head up to your room, and store your perishables in the refrigerator.
Now, I’m not saying you need every one of these things on the list. It’s just an idea of what you can grab for your hotel stay from any grocery store nearby.
How to make a meal:
Base of arugula or other leafy greens.
Load up with artichokes, beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, your favorite toppings.
Use your hummus or mashed avocado as a dressing. Enjoy!
